Missions Partners
Whaddon Way Church supports a number of organisations serving God both in the UK and abroad through prayer and financial giving as well as supporting a number of individuals and families engaged in mission. In Milton Keynes we support and work alongside the Bridgebuilder Trust in their work with schools.
Current missions supported are:
Baptist Missionary Society
Delivering practical help and the good news of Jesus to hard to reach communities worldwide. WWC supports three partners serving God in Peru: a couple training new leaders and working with local churches, an environmental community worker and a couple currently training to join the long term programme in Peru.
Bridgebuilder Trust
Working with schools in Milton Keynes to support spiritual, moral, social and cultural development and Christian understanding. WWC hosts Christmas and Easter Cracked with Bridgebuilder and welcomes hundreds of local school children into the building.
Feba life giving media
Working with local partners in Africa, Asia and the Middle East to deliver radio and audio education, practical information as well as messages of hope and encouragement.
Missionary Aviation Fellowship
Bringing the gospel and access to health care, education and supplies to isolated communities through its airplanes.
Tearfund
Working to improve the lives of people living in poverty, including responding to crises and natural disasters and campaigning on the effects of climate change and pollution on the lives of impoverished communities.
Ugandan Boreholes
The Whaddon Way Church community has also funded boreholes in Luuka Uganda through a member with a connection to that village community.
